Blogger Bash 2014 Day 2 Recap #BBNYC #LEGOBatmanGame #JohnnyRockets #KidzVuzBTS #EAEvents #CSSEvents #BTBBaby #mommytech

So first off if you missed my first post on Blogger Bash, you might want to read that one first.  Day 2 of Blogger Bash was the final day there and it was a day jam packed from 8 AM to 9 PM.

Day 2 started off with a Bat-tastic Breakfast that featured the new LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham game.  The game is coming out for all the different video game systems and after a hands on demo of it, I know my boys are going to love it!

Next up I had to choose between a Media Panel with some great new and traditional media speakers or Speed Dating with Brands.  I ended up choosing Speed Dating with Brands because as a review blogger I obviously want to make all the connections I can.  The Speed Dating was basically roundtable discussions with the brands where they told us their blogger initiatives and upcoming opportunities.

Next up was Bloganthropy Awards.  It was a small slot hosted by Debbie Bookstaber, co-founder of Bloganthropy.org and president of ElementAssociates.com, that showcased work a few nominated bloggers were doing for their communities.  It was awesome to hear from the bloggers on the great work they are doing for their communities.  These women used their powers of social media for good and used their own time and money in some circumstances as well.

Finally it was a lunchtime, which it is amazing how networking can build up an appetite.  Lunch was hosted by Johnny Rockets, which unfortunately we don’t have in Chicago.

Next up was Mommy Tech, Baby Palooza and Chicken Soup for the Soul Demo.  They all went on basically at the same time so I went back and forth to all them.

Mommy Tech was hosted throughout the hallway of the event and each sponsor had a table.  The brands were SpeakingPhoto, Link Vehicle, MZ Wallace, Linda Francis Lee, AT&T Netgear, Hashtracking, and Korus.

Baby Palooza I didn’t really spend any time in since my baby just turned 3.  The space though was filled with a bunch of great baby product brands.

Chicken Soup for the Soul food demos were exactly that.  Yes Chicken Soup for the Soul has expanded past just books, now they are making all sorts of comfort foods including sauces and soups.  Amazingly delicious!

Element Associates was the next event and it was an event filled with more great brands covering a variety of services.  From toys to makeup to surgery to jewelry, there were tons of great brands here to chat with.  I will say I was super impressed with the Wubble Ball and how durable that sucker is!  I didn’t get a picture since there were kids all over them, but they were amazing!

Day 2 ended with the Kidz Vuz Back to School Event.  The event hosted brands perfect for back to school and of course some fun toys.  The brands included Lands Ends, Microsoft, Hasbro, WWE, Speck and more!

Check out my Day 1 post for more of my Blogger Bash experience!  You can also check out my Instagram for more information on the brands above as I tagged the pictures!
