Sleeping Beauty & Mad Hatter Had Kids? Ever After High Rebel and Royal Dolls {Review}

My daughter is just about 3 years old but she loves dolls.  Recently I gave her all my old Barbie dolls from when I was a girl and it amazes me how she plays with them so nice.  My boys would be ripping their heads off or swinging them around but my young daughter dresses them, brushes their hair and places them nicely to bed!  It is amazing that she knows to do that.

Well recently I discovered some new line of dolls from Mattel called Ever After High Rebel and Royals.  They are the daughters and descendants of popular fairytale characters!  Seriously they are adorable!  Albert Einstein once said “If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairytales.”  Well these dolls are perfect companions to all those fairytales your child already knows.  The dolls are about 10 inches tall and they have moveable arms, hands, and legs, basically they are not completely flat and stiff.  What I love though is that they are super adorable.  From the dresses they were to the accessories they come with, seriously adorable!

I got the chance to check out Briar Beauty  and Madeline Hatter.  Now the ages on the box do say 6 and up, probably because they come with small pieces and because they are such collectible dolls that older girls will appreciate them more.  I honestly didn’t want my daughter to open them just yet so they sit in my office for now on a shelf.  As a fairy tale lover myself, I hope to collect all my favorites and share them with my daughter someday.  Oh and you even get an included plastic stand to hold the dolls up!  I’d say honestly this is a line of dolls for kids and adults as they are so adorable and at least for me it brings me back to my childhood.  I had no clue the whole Ever After Collection even existed but there is actually a whole website of stories, activities, videos and more all about these adorable teens.  I admit I spent way too much time browsing the website and watching the videos!
