Washable & Comfortable Dress-Up Clothes? Hello, Little Adventures! {Review}

My daughter loves to dress-up, and when I say loves I mean she dresses up multiple times a day, everyday.  We have so many dress-up dresses, its crazy, but she tends to change often because they are “scratchy.”  I’d say most dress-up dresses I have come across are scratchy inside or worse yet, they fall apart when I wash them.  Then I came across a company called Little Adventures at a specialty toy store by me.  Little Adventures promised to be “Comfortable, Washable, Guaranteed!”  So I spent the $30 and bought my daughter the Belle from Beauty and the Beast dress. Amazing!  So I went online to check out Little Adventures and what else they sold and I couldn’t believe how many dresses they had (yes they have some boy dress-up items as well.)

I received a few items to check out and no surprise, I love them!  The material is 100% Polyester and it is super soft.  Nothing scratchy inside that I could feel and my daughter wears her new dresses all day and even to sleep sometimes.  She never wore her other dresses that long.  The fabric is so unlike Halloween costumes or regular dress-up clothes, its soft, lightweight, and machine washable!  Yes I have washed these clothes and they come out just fine!

Yes these dress-up clothes cost more than others (about $30 a dress) but they will last, your child will want to wear them, and hello they are a lot cheaper than Disney dresses!  I will be brining these dresses to Disney World when we go there later this year and I have no doubt my daughter will want to wear one for Halloween as well.  Heck, I’d buy one if they came in my size!

Classic Rapunzel

This new gown is made from a sparkly crushed velvet bodice and amazing gold trims. The unique princess sleeve is absolutely elegant, and the beautiful lavender skirt makes this dress perfectly princess. Features: Clothing quality fabrics; machine washable. Cinderella

This newly redesigned glamorous dress is perfect for a night at the ball. The stretchy blue velvet bodice is elegantly detailed with a gathered white inlay, sparkling silver trim and a beaded flower. The silver trimmed hip drapes capture that authentic Cinderella look. Accessories sold separately. Features: clothing quality fabrics; machine washable. Stretchy, soft and very comfortable. Sizes: S-XL

And let’s not forget about girls becoming super heroes, since not all girls want to be princesses (or want to be both!)  These pieces are all sold individually but as expected are all adorable and high quality pieces.  First there is the Hero Tutu Lightning Bolt, then the Girl Hero Cape and finally the Reversible Mask – all complete the super girl look:

Overall, Little Adventures is a company I am so happy to have found.  They carry everything from dresses to adventure capes and boy cloaks to accessories, perfect for all little boys and girls.  I cannot rave enough about how awesomely soft they are and how they don’t fray in the washing machine.  Little Adventures was actually started by two moms who discovered the lack of high quality, affordable dress ups available for their children, yeah for mom-started businesses!
