The Lullaby Light Up Pillows From Melody Mates {Review}

A night light that my daughter can cuddle?  Uh yes please!  My daughter is constantly cuddling with her stuffed animals and blankets.  She drags them all over the house.  In her room she has a nightlight that I turn on every night but its across the room and she of course always wants it closer.

Well Melody Mates has solved our problem in her bedroom.  It is a pillow, blanket and nightlight all in one!  It comes in a variety of designs so no matter what your child likes there is a Melody Mate for them.

I got the chance to check out the Melody Mate in the giraffe style and my daughter loves it.  The pillow includes 12 LED light bulbs throughout the inside of the pillow.  It uses 3 AA batteries that you screw into a compartment inside the pillow, which then zips shut.  I like that it zips rather than velcro as it feels more secure.  Inside the pillow are quality speakers for clear and crisp sound.  Yes the pillow has audio!  The pillow plays lullabies for 16 1/2 minutes and has an auto cutoff switch.  There is a push button for Power if your child prefers to turn it on/off themselves.

My favorite feature though is the cover is machine washable!  I hate when things my kids use are spot-clean only as it is never something I can easily clean or disinfect.  I was worried this would be spot-clean because of the lights but that is all inside the pillow.

The pillow measures 14 by 14 inches which is a perfect size for kids.  The blanket that is included is a decent size for kids, its about the size of a toddler bed blanket.   Oh and both the pillow and blanket are made of super soft material that your child will beg to cuddle with!
