Disclosure: I was sent this product to review in exchange for my honest opinion.
Lincoln Logs are another toy from my childhood that I treasured just like Tinkertoys from K’NEX. I built for hours and hours with those little wooden pieces and green roofs. Even though toys today are a lot more than just some wooden logs and plastic roofs there is something about the timelessness of Lincoln Logs. I love when my kids drag out there Lincoln Logs and start building, it is probably what my brothers and I looked like to my mom. The Lincoln Logs sets available are pretty much the same but vary in sizes and pieces available but I will say the Lincoln Logs Collector’s Edition Homestead Set is definitely one to own. It is the biggest Lincoln Logs set ever created!
With over 330 parts to this set, the Lincoln Logs Collector’s Edition Homestead includes a frontiersman figure, two horses and a buildable covered wagon that really moves! Oh and the logs are real wood just like the original ones from back in the day. I love that they are still wood and haven’t moved to plastic pieces. Everything then fits back inside a big cardboard tube it comes in. I was worried because the tube is cardboard but it is actually pretty durable and has stood up to the constant use of my three kids.
This is a great set whether your child owns Lincoln Logs already or are looking to expand. It is a big set so that is something to keep in mind, and it is a little pricey around $100 but like I said it is a big set. Most of the other sets we have owned are around 100 pieces, so I am looking at this set being like three sets in one. This set also is different than other sets we have because of the frontiersman and wagon pieces which we didn’t have before. The possibilities really are endless for what kids can build and with this set they can build practically a whole village with all the pieces included. I do wish there was more people figures included but my boys didn’t have a problem incorporating some of their other figures into it.

we loved playing with lincoln logs with my kids and now the grandkids
I love that Lincoln Logs are still made out of wood. That's probably why they're a more expensive toy. This set is big though so the price isn't too bad considering. My grandson would love this set!
Well, that brings back some memories! But a hundred bucks? Really? Ouch. Guess they really were the good old days...
I love Lincoln logs. My kids love to play with these. plus they are so classic!!
It is a bit pricey but my girls have been asking for this! They're only 4 so I wasnt sure if this would be good for them. Thanks for reviewing this!
Lincoln logs is one thing that me and kids both have in common we both loved playing with them and allowing our imagination to travel to whatever we wanted to build
We love Lincoln Logs! You are never to old to play with Lincoln Logs. We actually used a bunch of ours for a class project not to long ago. They worked great.
