Creating an Extraordinary Generation of Girls With Our Generation Dolls {Review}

Our Generation is a company that wants girls to grow up being girls while creating an extraordinary generation.  They create quality dolls that girls can hopefully become a perfect person with and create a better environment.  They want their products to be more than just an 18 inch doll.  For every Our Generation doll, outfit or accessory sold, a portion of the sales goes to Free The Children’s Power of a Girl Initiative which helps to provide girls in developing countries an education.

I got the chance to check out some Our Generation products with my daughter and they are amazing products.  From her new doll to the accessories and outfit, my daughter loves her new Our Generation products and I love the quality of them.

Honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect with Our Generation Dolls.  The price with dolls starting at $24.99 seemed too good to be true!  Well the dolls are amazing and the price is a huge bonus!  What I really love though is since the dolls are so affordable, it makes it easier to afford all the fun accessories and outfits!  Its a bummer when my kids really like a toy but it was so expensive that I can’t afford all the extra pieces they want. Oh and Our Generation products are sold at Target which makes them conveinent as well to pick up!

So what Our Generation products did we get to play with?

Our Generation Jewelry Doll – Anya

Anya is a beautiful 18 inch doll that comes with jewelry and hair accessories.  I honestly think she is comparable to more expensive 18 inch dolls I have seen.  My daughter has sat for hours just playing with her hair and changing her clothes.  For just $30, Anya comes as a dressed doll with additional small pieces to accessorize.  She even comes with a jewelry stand to store all her pieces when not in use.  Again for the price I am amazed at how much is included and without sacrificing quality.  She is durable, poseable and has eyes that open/close.  Most of her body is the plastic but its not the super hard cheap plastic.  Her torso is squishy. She also of course brings Anya along wherever we go and luckily we also received the Doll Carrier Backpack which makes it easier.

This is an adorable backpack that has straps in the front to hold an 18 inch doll.  My daughter loves carrying this backpack around and having room for both her doll and her little toys.  Usually she has to carry her doll because there is no room in her backpack or the doll sticks out.  I was actually surprised too how big the inside is, its about the same size as her school backpack for preschool!  The back is lightweight so its not heavy and it has adjustable straps so it will grow with your child.  There is also a small pocket on the front that can fit a small accessory.

This is an adorable outfit that is fitting for the upcoming Spring weather we are going to be getting, hopefully to wash all this winter snow away!  It contains everything to get your child’s doll ready for Spring.  The coat and hat are soft, easy for kids to put them on a doll.  I love that it even comes with a little purse!  I will say the coolest thing is probably the box.  You can pull apart the box to use it as wrapping it up like a gift!
