“Come together right now over me…” Those song lyrics are pretty iconic. Did you know that 40% of families say they routinely watch all sorts of shows together, or come together in other words. Parents watch shows with kids and kids watch shows with their parents.
For us, Netflix really brings ou family together. I love that I am able to introduce my kids to some of my favorite shows and movies while watching new ones together.
One new show that has brought our family together is the new Netflix orginal series Beat Bugs. It is an animated show inspired by music of the Beatles. While the Beatles are before my time, they are a band I grew up with thanks to my parents and now I share those songs with my kids.
Beat Bugs stars five charming and energetic bug-like creatures (Jay, Kumi, Crick, Buzz and Walter.) The show is family-friendly but the best part is the music – recorded by today’s top artists, including Jennifer Hudson, P!nk, Sia and Eddie Vedder.
My family and I watch this show often after it is adorable listening to her sing. I was sent some adorable items and couldn’t wait to record her singing an iconic song. Can you guess her favorite song?
