Every month I get some great books from Parragon books that my family gets to enjoy. The latest books I received were hits as expected.

So what books did I get?

Discovery Kids Splash in the Ocean! (10 Button Sound Book)

$12.99 – Hardcover book

This is an adorable oversized board book with sounds to 10 different ocean animals. It is perfect for any animal lovers and sure to keep kids busy! The pages are thick cardboard and will stand up to the test of time. Throughout the book there are facts about the various animals. The pages are not overwhelmed with text but rather a few short sentences in bold font. The animal sounds are even written out for each animal. It comes with the required button cell batteries and its ready to go! You can change out the batteries too when needed.

Disney Pixar Finding Dory There’s Always A Way (Sticker Treasury & Coloring)

$12.99 – paperback

Join Dory, Marlin and Nemo in this super sticker and coloring treasury! Bring the awesome ocean scenes to life, add color to the fish and coral, decorate Dory in blue and yellow, and then fill each page with your fantastic stickers. There s so much to do and discover inside!

This is a thick coloring book/sticker book combination! The coloring pages are white pages which are so much nicer than the old, yellowish pages of the old coloring book. There are over 1000 stickers of various sizes and varieties from Finding Dory. The coloring pages tell the story of the movie with just a few sentences on each page. It is not an activity book so perfect for young kids who just want to color and play with stickers. It is really a thick book and would make a great gift combined with some crayons and markers.

Count to 10 with a Mouse Sticker Activity

$5.99 – paperback

Mouse really wants to learn to count. Hes crawled inside this counting book to start his adventure, can you help him? Slowly and carefully turn the pages to join the fun with mazes, puzzles, and lots of coloring in!

This is a very think coloring book jam packed with simple activities of coloring and over 100 stickers. It is perfect to throw in a purse with some crayons for fun on the go, especially at a restaurant which is where we tend to use it. The illustrations are simple and cute, basically what you’d expect from a Margaret Wise Brown book. She is the author of Goodnight Moon. The pages are thin, not the most durable but perfect for keeping a child busy. For the price its worth it.

This book comes with a cute mouse puzzle eraser as well which I thought was a little strange since you wouldn’t really use a pencil with this book.

4000 Stickers Under the Sea

$9.99 – paperback

This fun activity book will spark children’s imaginations as they complete the scenes and solve the puzzles. Includes activities like join the dots, coloring in, and spot the difference… plus 4000 awesome stickers to choose from!

This is a thick book that is jam packed with 4000 stickers. All the stickers are under the sea themed. This is an activity book full of activities including coloring, connect the dots, drawing, searching and matching. This book would keep a child busy for days! My daughter is 5 years old and loves flipping through it and completing the activities. It is a very colorful book that has illustrations that pop. The pages may be a little overwhelming for kids as they are busy but there really is lots to do. $10 does seem like a lot for the book but then again it does have a lot to do!

Disney Pixar Finding Dory Unforgettable Activities

$6.99 – paperback

Join Dory on an awesome adventure to find her family! Pick a path through the pipe maze, count the colorful shells, spot the ocean differences, and lots more!

This is a thin activity book full of puzzles, coloring, writing, letters, matching and more. Every page really does feature something different that it is sure to keep kids busy. There are no stickers but there is a cute mini chalkboard kids can use and wear as a necklace. It would make a great gift for a child to entertain them and is thin enough to throw in a bag for on-the-go fun. I found this is perfect to pull out while at a restaurant or doctor’s office to keep my kids busy. Not sure its worth $7 but you are paying for the Finding Dory theme.

There is also a code for a free Disney Digital Storybook on the Story Central App. So its like you get two books for the price of one!
