Disney Princess & Me Ariel Doll {Review}

I have always loved the Disney Princesses and honestly I absolutely love that I have a daughter of my own to share that love with. After two boys, it was so nice to have a girl and one that loves Disney Princesses as well. From her clothes to her blanket to her toys, its is amazing how much stuff we have featuring the Disney Princesses. Well one thing we didn’t really have is a doll featuring any of the Disney Princesses. We have some baby Disney Princess dolls, but they are little babies dressed as the princesses. Although nothing can really compare to the New Disney Princess & Me Collection.

I got the chance to check out the Ariel doll which actually is my 2 year olds favorite. Now I haven’t given her the doll quite yet, but I know she is going to love it! What sets the doll apart is that it is actually geared towards girls ages 6 and up. Whether they want to collect and display them or play with them, these dolls are amazing. From the big beautifully crafted eyes to the silky hair, they are 18 inch dolls that any girl would love. Actually since they are 18 inch dolls they would fit in most of the dolls clothes out there since there a lot of 18 inch dolls out there. Wouldn’t it be cute to dress Ariel up as a regular girl or in a costume from another doll? (I am thinking like American Girl clothes your daughter may already have.)

I didn’t want to fully remove her from the packaging just since since my daughter is still in the “puts stuff in her mouth” phase but probably in a few months she will be ready to cherish this doll like I know I would! For now I have it on display in her room.

At the price of just under $40 for a Disney doll, I think the price is worth it. Disney stuff can sometimes be pricey but with this being a Disney item and a doll that my daughter would want anyways, I don’t see $40 as unreasonable. The size of 18 inches is pretty awesome too!

We really like the Belle doll...she's lovely, and my daughter always picks brunettes because she wants them all to look like her :)
