Being a mom, I of course care about what my kids play with and I am always looking for safe and fun toys for them. Bright Starts toys are definitely amongst my favorite brands. Bright Starts puts fun first and you can tell by their toys that they deliver on that promise. With a growing product line of over 100 innovative activity centers, play gyms, bouncers, and toys; Bright Starts offers something for every child. After receiving awards from numerous leading industry and consumer organizations, Bright Starts is definitely doing something right!
Not only does Bright Starts create awesome toys, but they also donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their new Pretty in Pink collection of baby gear and toys towards breast cancer research, awareness, and education. Something I did not know is that “Every year, 1 in every 8 women is diagnosed with breast cancer.” That statistic shocked me and I applaud Bright Starts for helping.
So when Bright Starts offered me the Pretty in Pink Bounce-A-Bout Activity Center and their Original Bounce-A-Bout Activity Center to check out, I was thrilled! Both Activity Centers are perfect for any little one and my 9 months old, Gavin, loved them!
The Pretty in Pink Bounce-A-Bout Activity Center is not only pink and perfect for any little girl, but also a portion of the proceeds supports Breast Cancer. This Activity Center is awesome because it is not as big and awkward as other Activity Centers / Excersaucers, but is just the right size. With a 360-degree rotating seat, it makes it easy for your child to play with each of the toys. By adjusting the seat height, you can use this Activity Center from as early as 4 months until your child is 30” tall and 25 lbs! Oh and the best part is that it comes with a unique bounce pad which provides a soft surface for babies feet. And Gavin was definitely jumping around in this like crazy and I loved that it was so soft and not rough on his feet.
Another thing that makes this Bounce-A-Bout different from a regular excersaucer is the bounce pad. Typical excersaucers are rough and hard on your child’s feet, this Activity Center features a “bounce pad.” The bounce pad is a new innovative design that provides a soft jumping platform for your child, which Gavin definitely took advantage off! It also contains no springs, so that is one less piece you have to worry about!
* Ladybug mirror plays silly sounds
* Frog spinner top
* Spinning bee rattle ball
* Ratcheting bug with crinkle fabric wings
* Lilly pad toy stalk with fabric edges
* Overhead toy arch includes teether and hanging bumblebee
* Easy to clean toy tray – or Cheerios, which Gavin loves!
* Four toy loops for attaching more of baby’s favorite toys
* Lays flat for storage
* Machine washable seat pad
Okay now the most important question: How easy is it to put together? Well it was super easy! I actually put it together in about 20 minutes with my two little helpers! After you open all the toys from their individual bags, you just snap them all in place. You do need a screw driver just to tighten six screws in the base. My husband could not believe that I put it together by myself, and so quickly! It is also very easy to break down to store it.
As I said I also got to test out the Bright Starts Original Bounce-A-Bout, which is the same as the Pretty in Pink model, but it comes in the funky colors of blue, yellow, purple, and green. He bounced around in these bouncers for longer than he has ever played with a toy. The sounds were cute and I loved how all the toys did something different and weren’t boring and plain. Gavin liked each model equally, but if I had a girl I would definitely have to have the Pretty in Pink style. It was just so adorable and girly and supports Breast Cancer!
Currently the Pretty in Pink Bounce-A-Bout Activity Center can only be found online at Target.com and of course Bright Starts. Have boys like me, and then definitely check out the boy version that I also reviewed. Gavin had such a great time in it and I love that it contains him so I can pick up and get some stuff done around the house without worrying that he is crawling all over! Or if you want more of the Pretty in Pink Collection, you can check out all the other pink products!

For the 3rd consecutive year, Bright Starts has also decided to honor eight amazing women for their inspirational fight against breast cancer to represent their 2009 Pink Power Moms. Each 2009 Pink Power Mom will receive a $5,000 donation to the breast cancer charity of her choice, plus special pampering gifts just for her.
Do you know a mother who has persevered through her battle with breast cancer and continues to be a role model within her community and family? Nominate her until June 30th, 2009 to become a 2009 Pink Power Mom.
Well guess what? I have teamed up with Bright Starts to offer one of my readers the Pretty in Pink Bounce-A-Bout Activity Center! That is a $60 value! So what little girl wouldn’t love this wonderful pink Activity Center?! I mean there has to be someone in your life that you could give this to!
