One product I use regularly is my flat iron.  My hair is naturally curly/wavy and for days when it is not consistent, I just break out my hair straightner and even it out.  It also only takes a few minutes since I have short hair but with a good straighter it should be quick and painless!  I admit I have tried off-brands and salon branded Flat Irons and there definitely is a difference.  A good brand will heat up quickly, have different temperature settings, and actually straighten your hair!
