There are so many scams out there that you really do have to be careful when shopping online for something.  Lately in the business world there have been lots of articles about a Funding Universe Scam.  Some companies will offer everything possible and then disappear after paid.  These companies usually don’t have good phone numbers, a good mailing address, and they work scams for as long as they can.  Luckily the Federal Trade Commission eventually will realize and shut the company down for good, but not after millions of customers are ripped off for good.

Rather than being a Funding Universe Fraud they are actually a company that helps people avoid scams.  By matching small business owners with the world’s largest network of banks, lenders and other funding sources, they help consumers make small business loans simple.  There doesn’t seem to be a Funding Universe Rip Off as far as I can tell, but then again I am by no means an expert.  The company does review credit information and work on a highly detailed business profile to determine whether or not an applicant will get approved or not.  Also, I really like their Facebook page too because it does have some valuable tips and article links.
