I did it! I changed my domain address to www.momandmore.com. (If you go to www.mamasmoneysavers.com it will still link to www.momandmore.com) I have been thinking about it for a long time, but I finally took the plunge. It is a lot to change and adjust to, but I had to do it! I initially started this blog to help my friends and family save and make money because they were always asking me for the latest deals and online opportunities. After about 6 months I started doing product reviews and writing more personal posts, and moved away from deal blogging.
I do occasionally post freebies, deals, coupons and other online offers, but I don’t want that to be my focus. I actually don’t want to have a specific focus, but rather want to focus on a little of everything: Product Reviews, Giveaways, Recipes, Personal Posts, Making Money, and more!
I picked the name “Mom and More” because I am a Mom, Daughter, Wife, Sister, Friend, Grandaughter, and Woman! I like how the name “Mom and More” leaves my blog open to interpretation and topics. Before when I would say my blog is “Mama’s Money Savers” people would say “Oh you’re a coupon blogger” and that was that. Now I have nothing against coupon blogging, I actually think it is hard to keep up with and applaud those that can keep up with those daily deals, but I wanted to have more.
I hope you all like my new name and don’t mind the kinks and construction! I figured I would change the domain first and then add in my new header and button. I will still have my old name www.mamasmoneysavers.com route to my new name “Mom and More” but you can now just go to www.momandmore.com !

I’ve been thinking about switching my domain name for a while…did you have to do anything to keep all of your followers under this new domain? Are you worried about it affecting your traffic? It sounds like a great step for you to take!
