MY THOUGHTS:

First off I have to say, we love this game!  It is not at all like a traditional board game, and the possibilities to play are endless!  Even though my oldest is 4 years old, he does not understand board games and rules (and taking turns much) at all, with Crocodile Hop he gets it!  It comes with just a few pieces which I love because its less for us to loose!  The vinyl mat is huge, like 6 feet or so, and so bright and busy.  There are different shapes, colors and numbers on the mat, with a starting point at one end.  Then you get two inflatable dice with shapes and colors on them, and a pack of 40 cards but we haven’t even used them yet.  There is also an instruction book that comes with the game that has different Activities and Games to play for both home and classroom use.  This game teaches so much, including shapes, colors, numbers, and animals that it is great for kids of all ages (recommended age is 3+ or PreK.)

We spread Crocodile Hop out on our living room floor and took turns rolling the dice.  I would call out what the dice rolled and my boys had so much fun finding it on the mat and hopping over to it!  I also plan on using this outside in the grass when we get some nice weather out here – its like a more advanced version of hopscotch!  There really are not too many games that I see educational value in or my boys understand (they are 2 and 4) but Crocodile Hop is great for them as they are learning as they play!  The inflatable dice is big enough for little hands to throw and not loose and it really is a kid-friendly game. I really don’t have anything bad to say or anything I’d change as I really do like this game!
