ABOUT:
Educational Insights is a manufacturer of kids products that have an educational value to them. Their products include classroom products, teacher resources, educational toys, and games. All the products are designed by seasoned educators and parents who know that learning needs to be fun to keep kids engaged.
MY THOUGHTS:
I have two very active boys who don’t really like to sit still, especially when I am trying to work on something with them. I try to make learning fun but they seem to catch on that its educational and they give up.
Number Bean Bags
Includes 20 bean bags for active play that teaches early math.
Kinesthetically reinforce early math lessons in tossing games with our sturdy bean bags.
- Includes 20 bean bags, each with a number on one side and number word on the reverse, for active play that engages children in learning numbers 1-20, counting, addition and subtraction
- Features color-coded even (blue) and odd (red) numbers to help children learn the difference
- Offers suggestions for hands-on early math games for large and small groups in Activity Guide
- Provides storage for all components in drawstring bag
- Washable felt bean bags are lightweight and measure 2.75″ square each, easy for young children to handle
- Grades PreK+
These Number Bean Bags from Educational Insights are not only fun but educational! They are bean bags about the size of my palm, so perfect for little hands, that have numbers on them. One side is an embroidered number and the other is the word of the number. The bean bags go up to 20 and fit nicely in the included drawstring bag. With these bags the possibilities really are endless. You can play games with them, use them for homework or just practice with them. I like to have my boys put them in order and try to recognize what number it is from the word. I find the bags to be pretty durable and while they do have a little krinkle noise I think it adds to the fun. If you are looking for a fun and different way to teach numbers to your preschooler (or even toddler) these Number Bean Bags are pretty neat!
BUY IT: The Number Bean Bags can be purchased for $27.99 from Educational Insights or check out the Store Locator for a store that carries Educational Insights products near you!
