ABOUT:
Help ten baby animals find their friend Razzmataz in this mini-game collection and pet rearing game for Nintendo DS. ZhuZhu Babies has you traveling to various cities around the world in an attempt to locate Razzmataz, but before you can advance, you’ll need to complete a series of hands-on activities. You’ll also raise and nurture the babies in between games by attending to their grooming, feeding, and recreational needs at various times of day.

My boys love their Zhu Zhu pets and as new Nintendo DS players, I knew Zhu Zhu Babies would be a cute game for them. It is a game where you can play with 11 different Zhu Zhu Babies that have gotten lost in mazes. The levels get harder and my boys did need help but it is still a fun game and with time I think they will catch on faster. I like it because it starts out easy and gets more challenging. You do have to work your way through the mazes going through obstacles and picking up objects. There are over 30 levels to explore each representing a different city. I used the different cities as lessons to my boys about them.
As you collect all your Zhu Zhu Babies, you can also take care of them by feeding them, exercising them and loving them! You actually have to take care of them or their meters will turn blue. My boys like the mazes more than taking care of their pets right now, but then again they are only 3 and 4 years old. The game involves problem solving and strategy but I think young kids can pick up on it quickly and there is something for different ages.

I do know the grandkids got a Zhu Zhu pet a couple of years ago but I dont know the name of the one they had. It was cream and yellow. I do know they LOVED them then, so I think Alli would love this for her DS she got last Christmas from her aunt.
