Ella’s Kitchen {Organic Baby Food} Review

ABOUT:

Ella’s Kitchen was created when a father was looking for a healthy, delicious, and easy to eat on-the-go food for her daughter, Ella.  The company also takes a kid’s view when making their products by focusing on color, texture, and flavor.  Ella’s Kitchen has five ranges:  First Tastes, Ella’s 1 Baby Food, Fruit + Baby Rice, Baby Brekkie, and Smoothie Fruits.  All the foods are yummy and 100% organic baby food.

MY THOUGHTS:

So my baby girl just turned 6 months old and we are into the fun phase now of introducing foods.  While it is easy to feed her boring old baby food, I know how important variety is while still being healthy.  I also have the challenge of feeding Olivia quite often while on-the-go.

Ella’s Kitchen is great because 1) the variety of flavors is amazing, 2) it is so convenient to grab one and dispose of it and 3)  they are 100% organic!  The flavors available are so much more than just peas or just apples.

Features:

  • No added water
  • No preservatives or thickeners
  • No E numbers or GM
  • No gluten or wheat
  • No lumps or bits and nothing artificial
  • Unsweetened and unsalted
  • Contains naturally occulting sugars

Throwing an Ella’s Kitchen pouch in the diaper bag is so convenient for me and what is nice is that when Olivia is a little bigger she can actually eat right out of the pouch!  Kids can suck the food right out of the pouch!  For now I squeeze the pouch into a bowl, warm it for a few seconds (although warming is not required) and she is ready to go.  Olivia loves every flavor she has tried so far and each pouch is the perfect amount.  The flavors really are interesting and give kids so much towards their nutritional requirements.
