Rubbermaid Clean & Dry Plunger Review

Rubbermaid Clean & Dry Plunger

ABOUT:

The Clean & Dry™ plunger helps keep your bathroom cleaner and more sanitary. Traditional plungers pick up germs and bacteria that can spread when dripped on floors or in cabinets. The Clean & Dry plunger head and pole is protected with NeverWet™ coating, which forms a protective shield around them that water cannot penetrate. It works like car wax, the water beads up and rolls off instantly.

  • The unique NeverWet™ coating is affected by the natural oils in your skin, touching the protective coating may impact product performance
  • Repels water, bacteria and other things
  • Won’t drip on your floors after use
  • Helps keep your floors cleaner and more sanitary

MY THOUGHTS:

The bathroom is the room I hate cleaning the most.  It is like a germ fest in there especially with my two little boys who aren’t the best aimers if you get my drift!  Then there is the plunger in the corner.  Yes we all need them at some point or another but at least for me I hate the thought of that germy water resting on my floor.  Since I have been on my own I have owned the cheap orange rubber ones, the black accordion ones, and even the ones that have their own little holder.

The Clean & Dry plunger by Rubbermaid is not only a sleek looking (if plungers can be sleek) but it features NeverWet nanotech coating.  The NeverWet coating forms a protective germ shield so water cannot penetrate it.  So just like when you wax your car and the water beads off, the toilet water will bead off the plunger so you can put it safely on your floor without worrying about germs.  For peace of mind you can bleach it to clean it, but it is recommend not to use soap or touch the coating yourself.

Overall, I found that the Clean & Dry plunger looks good in my bathroom, keeps germs off the floor and is reasonably priced that I can pick up a few more for the rest of my bathrooms!  Oh and of course it plunges just like you expect it to!
