I remember my first Christmas with my husband. I wanted to surprise him and decorate the house for when he came home. So, when he came home there were snowmen everywhere and the house was all festive. Turns out he hated snowmen and it was a nightmare for him. LOL

Our stocking stuffers were the most exciting part of Christmas because there were a bunch of little presents to open. The idea of opening more gifts was so much fun. My mom would wrap up batteries (individually) so that we had more stuff to open. After the stocking stuffers, we always had 1 big present and that was usually pretty fun, too. One year, my brother and I both got 1-man tents and the tents were already set up in the living room. It was fun to go indoor camping.

I remember one Christmas we always opened our gifts up on Christmas Eve after a Church Service….we came home and found NOTHING under the Christmas tree we started yelling and crying…my parents said here is what Santa left and handed us coal….then a little while later the presents started coming out lol

The things that stick in my memories is seeing my daughter’s eyes light up on Christmas morning when she was little. Now seeing my 2 neices eyes light up when they get to my mom’s house on Christmas morning is priceless. All my memories of Christmas are all happy ones. I remember when my daughter was younger my mom got her a puppy for Christmas and her face when she saw that puppy was pure joy. I was just shocked! Nobody told me they were getting her one. We had to keep it at mom’s house because we live in an apt that isn’t allowed pets. That dog was 1/2 St.Bernard and 1/2 Mastiff. She was huge at 4 months old. That was a fun day. The best part of Christmas is celebrating the birth of Christ. I’m so thankful He’s my Lord & Savior. Thank you for the great giveaway! 🙂
