    Nintendo is a brand that really sums up part of my childhood.  I can still remember the day I got my first regular Nintendo game system and how exciting it was to own it before all my friends.  I played it for hours and hours…and hours.  Since then I have owned almost all the other other Nintendo systems and its a brand I will probably always own something of.

    Well last month Nintendo released a new game for the Nintendo DS handheld system, Mario Party: Island Tour.  This game is the newest in the Mario Party series, which is probably my favorite game series next to classic Mario Bros.  The Mario Party games are awesome party games or just family night games!  I admit that my husband and I used to play one of the older versions of Mario Party almost nightly before kids!  I have honestly never played a DS party game like this before, but it seems like it is going to awesome, especially since you can connect to your friends DS and their game.

      I think I know more about Mario & Luigi than any parent!! My son has autism and that is his current obsession. Nintendo is great I cannot believe how far the Mario Brothers have come.

      I remember when the first Nintendo came out, it was still fairly new when my Grandma got us one. We loved the duck hunt game, Tetris was my absolute favorite. It remains to this day my favorite video game.

      My family lovessssss Mario even for halloween my boys were Mario and Luigi my kids live for Mario and Luigi and the as far as the new 2ds my son wants one so bad but we did not have the money this year for it for my son for Christmas so it would be cool to get this for him..

      I used to play on the original Nintendo, Super Mario Brothers. I knew all the warp zones, I used to ‘ride the turtle’ on the steps to receive unlimited lives. I knew how to beat that game within 10-15 minutes with all the warps using 1 Mario life. I’d love to play this game with my kids. If I could pull that off again they would think Im cool!

      Ive been a Mario fan when it wasnt cool :). My kids use to get upset because I always bought nintendos instead of playstations or xbox because of the Mario games. Id love to win to pass on the love of Mario to my grandkids.

      I remember played the Original NES in my uncle’s bedroom when I was five. I immediately fell in love and went to his house to play it any chance that I could. My parents ended up getting me my own for Christmas that year.

      I remember on my 6th birthday, I remember that it was snowing so bad outside that my sister and I couldn’t go outside. So, my parents decided that because we’d have to cancel our birthday party, they would give us our gift: a Super Nintendo. We played it all day long!

      I remember trying to play the games as a mom of 4 then, (have added two since) and my kids laughing at me because I would move the controller all around by hand. I never got the hang of it but the kids have been near experts.

      I remember as a child playing the original Nintendo games. My favorite was the one where Mario would jump to hit his head on the floor above him to flip over various critters so he can then go up and kick them off.

      I grew up playing NIntendo and Super Nintendo with my sister – we “wasted” many an hour playing Super Mario Brothers, but looking back it was a great bonding experience for the two of us. I’d love to win a Nintendo DS for my niece and nephew to help them bond over gaming as well!
