The Wilson Sisters new book and CD…

The Wilson sisters of Heart are now poised to rock a whole new generation. Baby Guitars, a gorgeous collection of acoustic lullabies, will be made available exclusively on Amazon.com as both a CD and digital download on Oct 6. Nancy Wilson wrote the melodies after the birth of her twin sons. She collaborated with Heart guitarist Craig Bartock to record the album in her home studio and, for years, her children fell asleep with the music playing in their bedroom.

In addition, the multi-talented Ann Wilson, Nancy’s sister and Heart collaborator, has created a really sweet children’s book based on Dog & Butterfly, the iconic song she penned. The beautifully-illustrated Dog & Butterfly storybook also will be available only on Amazon.com beginning in October – just in time to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the classic double platinum Heart album of the same name.

The ten beautiful compositions and stunning guitar work that compose Baby Guitars are reminiscent of Nancy’s work on the musical scores of films such as Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, and Vanilla Sky. Two of the songs are featured on her Elizabethtown score soundtrack album and “Sun on the Rug” was prominently heard in the Hillary Swank movie P.S. I Love You. The adorable art was created by Nancy’s children specifically for the CD.

Dog & Butterfly, the brand-new book that brings to life the story of a little dog whose only dream is to befriend a butterfly, was written and illustrated by Ann Wilson with Nancy adding color and her own whimsical drawings of butterflies to the mix. The talented siblings also have recorded a brand-new version of Dog & Butterfly, the hit song from their double-platinum album, specifically for the children’s book project. The song will be available for download only with the purchase of the book on Amazon.
