Okay so honestly I watched this movie with my 12 year old sister and it was pretty good, she loved it of course. Now the only thing I know about Corbin Bleu was that he was in High School Musical, and but I haven’t seen that series yet so I didn’t know what to expect.
“Free Style” is a tween movie where Corbin Bleu’s character is a motorcross racer in a small town where instead of the typical football-town, they are a Motor Cross town. Raised by a single mother with a little sister, Cale (Bleu) is competing for a spot on a National Racing Team. The movie is 90 minutes of typical drama from a tween movie, but it does have exciting motorcross stunts. It also has obvious twists, but I am also thinking too much into it, where a kid is just going to enjoy the movie! I am also always a sucker for teen love and tween drama. I also think it is a great family movie, especially when there are so few choices that are great for boys and girls that are rated PG.
