Right before Christmas we finally bought another desk and a lateral filing cabinet. My husband works from home one day a week plus has school work and I just couldn’t take him using my desk anymore! He would move my stuff around, disrupt my computer and mess with my ergonomic office chair.
We bought the other desk to accommodate our old computer since we were also saving for a new computer, which of course went on my desk! We didn’t have a big budget for office furniture and since we had just purchased our desk a year ago we were able to buy a matching one for just over a hundred dollars as well as the matching filing cabinet. The only thing that doesn’t match though is our office chairs. We have a black leather one and a brown suede one. My husband doesn’t mind the black leather chair but it does drive me nuts that everything matches except the chairs. Petty I know but I have been browsing for cheap office chairs and eventually will cave and buy one. I just can’t believe how expensive a nice office chair still is, I would have thought they’d come down in price but then again I am being picky with color and fabric.
