MY THOUGHTS:
I got the chance to try out the Sea Salt and Pico de Gallo Beanfields chips and while I was skeptical about chips made with beans, they are quite good! My 2 year old actually really likes them and didn’t want to share with me! I love how they have so much fiber and protein in them, which most chips don’t have. Beanfields Snacks are chips that I don’t feel guilty snacking on or letting my family eat them. They definitely live up to their name of “crispylicious” and are crunchy and not soggy, which I expected from chips made with beans! So far I have just tried them plain, but I bet they would also be good dipped in salsa or other dips. Since my little chip-addict seems to really enjoy them I will definitely be buying Beanfields to keep out for snack time to slip in that extra protein and fiber. It is also nice to know that I am supporting US farmers by buying these snacks.
BUY IT: Beanfields Bean and Rice Chips can be found at natural food and convenience stores. They are also available at Beanfields website to order. A 6 oz. bag retails from $2.99 to $3.99.
