MY THOUGHTS:
I don’t know how to explain “Chronicle” or even classify it but I’ll try. It is a movie that showcases a main character being bullied and an outcast in highschool, who gets a video camera. He then decides he is going to video record everything which is strange but gives him something to hide behind and do. His cousin who is not as dorky as him takes him to a party and they meet up with another friend. At the party they come across this cave-like thing in the ground and come across some kind of phenomenon. After that they realize they have all sorts of abilities and start working on them and figuring them out. It is nice to see the main character have a focus and friends but too much power can be a bad thing. My favorite part though would be when the show off at a talent show in school and the dorky character becomes a rockstar pretty much! I will say though I wish more about the power was explained. The movie is not at all what I was expecting but it was well made and did suck me into watching the whole thing to see how it ends. While you can kind of see how the movie is going to end I was a little surprised and honestly would watch this movie again. The characters were great and the tricks were pretty cool.
