When I was pregnant with my first child I had no clue what to expect. I was the first of our friends to be pregnant and I basically got no advice from my family. There were so many things I wish I would have known but I made it through my pregnancy and onto two more children. I have been thinking though of how I survived my pregnancies and what were my must have items.
Here is a pic of me the day I had my daughter, big belly and all!
While each pregnancy is different there are some changes to a woman’s body that seem to pop-up. Like constipation. Yes I said it. During pregnancy and afterwards, going to the bathroom was a huge issue for me and honestly it got worse as I had more kids. Its like a dirty little secret…No book I read prepared me for #2 issues. Before pregnancy I had never ever had issues going to the bathroom.
“A stool softener? What the heck is that?” and “Do I have to put it up there or is there a pill I can take?” Those are things that went through my head when I figured out my problem. Honestly I never did end up taking anything until my third kid when I realized I was being stupid not getting help.
DulcoEase Pink is a Stool Softener that is stimulant-free and contains the #1 OB/GYN Recommended Ingredient (among stool softener ingredients.) Now of course you want to check with your doctor first before using. I never got to try DulcoEase out but it is definitely a product that I will be recommending. It is one of those products that moms-to-be or new moms might feel embarrassed buying or worse yet just not even be prepared for. Could you imagine trying to send your husband out to buy it?
So if I was creating a New Mothers Tool-Kit, here are a few items I’d include:
- DulcoEase Pink Stool Softener
- Dinner (gift cards or homemade meals)
- Spa service (gift card for a haircut, manicure, massage, whatever to pamper a new mom!)
