Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks and Lancome and they provided me with a Lancome DreamTone in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
A few weeks ago I received a pink bottle of Lancome DreamTone that is considered the next generation of dark spot correction. So powerful, 72% of women dare to bare their skin. Now I am not one to wear foundation or even powder pretty much ever but I do like a good moisturizer. I need something on my face that is lightweight and to help control my crazy skin. From acne scars to age spots to dry/oily combination spots, I have all sorts of issues going on. Well Lancome DreamTone challenged me to use this product for a few weeks and see if I notice a difference. Now for someone who wears makeup daily this would be a product to use to help stop using makeup daily to cover up your skin, it dares you to go bare. I have been using this in place of my moisturizer for now and I feel great.
Lancome DreamTone is available in three barely-tinted serums and when I say barely I mean barely. You know how normally you have to wash your hands after applying a foundation, well this left my hands clean. It was crazy that there was no residue or color left behind. No greasy film on my hands from running the serum in, just skin. The serum has a light perfume scent to it but it goes away right away, it bothered me at first as it could be overpowering when you don’t expect a scent, but I have gotten used to it. This serum has really worked its magic though on me to reduce the craziness on my skin, I definitely am not so self-conscious anymore about my face. My skin just looks more even and the blemishes look like they are slowly fading in. I feel like I glow confidence now! I seriously love this serum and I am going to try to budget in the cost to keep using it. Yes that’s the drawback…the price is $98 a 1.3 fl. oz. bottle. Yes I said $98, as in almost $100. I use this product once a day and have learned to just use a little to make it last so we shall see how long I can make it last.
This is me no makeup, just DreamTone (well and some eyeliner since my eyes looked so tired!):
BUY IT: Lancôme DreamTone retails for $98 for a 1.3 fl oz. bottle and is available for purchase at Lancôme.com and department stores nationwide.
