First off I cannot believe Mary Poppins is 50 years old! I remember when I was little singing “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” over and over, always wondering if it was a real word. Even to this day when I give my kids medicine, I find myself singing “Because a spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down.” Now with “Mary Poppins” being released on Blu-ray I can share the movie with my kids. We actually have the VHS of the movie, but its of course not the same as a Blu-ray. This copy has been digital remastered and restored with some fun bonus content. It is a classic movie that is timeless and one that every generation can appreciate. I didn’t think the movie could get better until I saw it on Blu-ray, granted the last version I watched was on VHS!
