Have some holiday leftovers in your fridge? Its probably time to throw them out and start fresh for the new year with a clean fridge. For me, we have very light Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners that I miss the turkey and ham we have at Thanksgiving by the time January comes around. Hormel Foods has some new meal ideas to check out using holiday favorite foods you may be missing already!
Using Jennie-O Turkey or Hormel Cure 81 sliced Ham:
- Create Greek Turkey Kabobs by cutting up Jennie-O® Turkey Store® oven roasted turkey breast into cubes and alternately threading them onto skewers with cucumbers, tomatoes and Peloponnese® kalamata pitted olives. This Mediterranean twist might just convert reluctant turkey eaters!
- Roll up the turkey/ham into a tortilla to create a wrap, no more plain ole’ turkey sandwiches!
- Make your favorite salad with turkey/ham chunks tossed in
- Make a delicious quiche by mixing ham and vegetables inside and baking
