TwirlyGirl Reversible Skirt {Review} (& Coupon Code)

With having two older brothers, I thought for sure my daughter would be a tomboy and follow in her brothers’ footsteps. She is though quite the opposite. My daughter is as girly as you can get! She only wants dresses, tutus, and skirts, even when its way too cold for them! I dress her in the morning and within 15 minutes she comes back from her room wearing whatever she picked out, and its never pants! She loves funky prints as well and she would absolutely love a reversible skirt like this.

Well luckily that reversible skirt is exactly what I got to check out from TwirlyGirl. When I got the skirt I couldn’t wait for my daughter to try it on. She had seen the skirt online when I was browsing for girls cute clothes and I knew she’d be excited to see that I got it. For a 2.5 year old she has a pretty good memory and was actually asking about her “new skirt!”

So what did she think? She loves it! She has been wearing it everywhere and we have received so many compliments on it!

Some features of this girls reversible skirt:

Reversible! Both sides feature unique designs.
One side is more subtle and light colored. The other side is vibrant and full of designs.
Double ruffle trim, shiny dark purple and fuchsia.
1 1/2 inch elastic waist band for comfort and allows room to grow.
Super soft and smooth fabric.
Polyester 96% / Spandex 4%
Machine washable! (This is a must! Sometimes nicer kids clothes are not machine washable and to me that is just crazy!)

So first off I will get this out of the way and say that yes the skirt is expensive, $62 to be exact. Now though when I think about it, you are getting two skirts in one and the fabric is not cheap. This skirt is not going to fade or shrink like other fabrics might. It is going to last. Its worth the investment especially if you can pass it onto other children, which is the logic I use when spending more on kids clothes. I would have never thought about reversible skirts, what a genius idea! Actually depending on how my daughter feels she will wear her skirt one way and later on she may reverse it just because. The size is also big enough that my daughter is going to fit in this skirt for awhile due to the elastic waist band. We had no problems with the skirt and honestly I’d stock up on the different styles if I could afford to!

Other than reversible skirts for girls, TwirlyGirl also features fun dresses, tops, bottoms and accessories! I warn you though the site is adorable and hard to not buy anything! Oh and don’t look at the website with your daughter nearby because if she is like mine than she will want everything! What is especially great though is that since most of the items are multi-colored or reversible, they will match items your child probably already has in her closet!
