Okay so this one is not really a cake but hey anything with frosting can be considered a cake, right? My youngest son has egg and nut allergies so for his birthday I decided to combine three of his favorite things: Oreos and frosting and sprinkles = mini oreo cakes. Yes I have made egg/nut free cakes before but honestly they don’t always come out the greatest looking and for parties at home I make him an ice cream cake – for a kid party this was perfect! It was a HUGE hit with all the kids and less waste (who needs a half a sheet cake going home with them!)
Mini Oreo Cakes
Ingredients:
- Oreos (or any cookie really)
- Frosting
- Sprinkles
Directions:

- Add sprinkles!
I used a cup to hold them:

Great idea for kids to be able to participate in decorating. You could even have them at a birthday and let all the kids decorate their own. Be prepared for a mess though! A table cloth might be a good idea.

A little more frosting never hurt anyone right? I bet kids will just love these and they are cute. i am thinking I could do the white Oreos with some light baby blue frosting on top for treats at the baby shower I am hosting in a couple months
