Disclosure: I am currently a member of the Netflix Stream Team and this post is part of my involvement in the Group in exchange for receiving a product package.
Oh Netflix, you and I have become such close friends. You give me suggestions for what to watch, you keep track of what I’m watching and you are constantly keeping things fresh. I watch you often (well as often as I can) and I tell all my other friends and family about how awesome you are.
I first used Netflix when it was just a DVD subscription service and when it added streaming, I wasn’t sure I would use it. Then with the technology of all the media streaming devices and tablets, I find myself not able to live without Netflix! My family and I watch Netflix everyday, whether it is a cartoon my kids want to watch, a television show I am catching up on or sitting down with my husband for a movie. Its funny how something as simple as a $10 a month subscription service can be part of our everyday lives.
What I really love about Netflix is it allows me to watch tv shows and movies I might not have normally watched. As a busy mom of three, I cannot remember the last time I sat down and watched a show when it actually started. Without my DVR and Netflix I would probably be completely lost! I would honestly cancel our cable subscription all together if it wasn’t for the live sports my husband wants (needs) to watch!
Here are some television shows I recently discovered:
- X-Files
- Breaking Bad
- Twin Peaks
- Doctor Who
- House of Cards
- Dexter
- Lost
- The Fall
- The Killing
- The 100
Those are just some of the shows, I have a lot more in my queue of what I want to watch. I know I have crazy tastes all over the place! Netflix though is more than just a media streaming website. It is something that bring my family together and is something perfect for our late night date nights! On the weekends my family and I cuddle on the couches and pick a movie to watch and during the week my husband and I watch whatever show we are hooked on at the moment! Each month new content is added, and some content is retired and I admit look forward to the changes. The $10 a month Netflix costs is priceless to my family.

We just purchased Netflix a couple weeks ago. Right now we’re watching Bloodline, a Netflix original series. We dropped cable altogether and are now exclusively Netflix.

I haven’t had Netflix for a few years and would only rent DVD’s. I’ve always wondered about the streaming option though. Is there a way to stream the movies and programs through the television? It looks like they have quite a few great options of programs to watch.

My sister is a Netflix fan too. She doesn’t have cable so she uses it everyday. I haven’t used it myself, but I’m so close to telling my cable company to take a jump that it probably won’t be long. Isn’t Dexter a great show?

I recently got Netflix and its great. I haven’t watched “House of Cards” but have heard its great. I’m going to have to start watching that one.

I don’t have Netflix, so I watch tv live. I watch Castle, Forever, and sometimes Grimm. I’m probably done with Grimm, though. They’ve gone WAY too soap opera-y for me.
