I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
Last year one of my son’s hot toys was a LaserX set. I recommend LaserX to all of their friends and now our whole neighborhood has these fun laser blasters. I didn’t think that LaserX could really be improved or added to but two new products have been added to the LaserX line.
What makes LaserX a “Real-Life Laser Gaming Experience”?
- Can be played inside or outside – yes even in the sunlight the lasers work
- Can be played with unlimited players – you just choose a team by flipping a switch – all LaserX sets work together and we have had no problems connecting them together
- Battery operated no charging required and easily turned off so it doesn’t drain the batteries
- Pinpoint blasting accuracy up to 200 feet just like real Laser Tag
- Vest attached to gun so you don’t have to worry about losing pieces and it does stretch to accommodate different player’s sizes
Two new LaserX products – Long Range Blaster and Gaming Tower
The Long Range Blaster is a little bigger than a regular LaserX blaster. It works just the same shooting but shoots up to 400 feet instead of 200 feet and has a 25 shot rapid blast fire. It also has a light-up long range scope and vibrates when shooting. It is a step up from the regular LaserX Blasters and believe me when I say your kids will want this upgrade. It just seems more powerful and cooler!
The LaserX Gaming Tower is a great game addition. It has 9 built-in games in total – 4 single player games, 4 head to head challenges and Capture the Flag. There is even a fun “Repeater” Mode blasts everyone in a 360-degree radius! The tower is extremely portable and easily carried wherever your kids want to play, we have used it both inside and outside. My boys haven’t tried all the modes yet as they love just setting it up and shooting at it! I will say to save the instructions if you want to look up all the different games and challenges.
Honestly, it takes a lot for my kids to enjoy a toy over and over, especially one that they still play with a year later. LaserX really is a hot toy and I cannot say enough good things about it. The set works great! Do make sure you have batteries on hand when you first get it though so your kids can start playing! I admit to playing too and thanks to the elastic of the Laser Tag vest, it fits me just fine without adjusting anything.
More info is available at: GetLaserX.com. It is available in sets that equip two players for $49.99 or that equip one player for $24.99 at Target.com and other retailers. The Long Range Blaster ($39.99) and Gaming Tower ($39.99) are also available now.
