I received tickets in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
When my family and I drove to Pigeon Forge a few months ago there was one attraction that literally stood out and I felt kept drawing us in: Beyond the Lens.
Honestly, I had no idea what the attraction was about but I felt like we had to go. Honestly, I don’t even know how to describe it other than to say the place has a little of everything. My teens ages 11 to 16 were seriously amazed at everything in there and didn’t bug us to leave, which says a lot.
So what does Beyond the Lens have inside:
- 2-minute escape room
- Pop culture facts and items
- VR experiences
- Ball pit for aliens
- Dodgeball-type game
- Props to take photos
- Flyride – virtual flying experiences
- and more!
We arrived right when the center opened and it was perfect, definitely got crowded as the day went on. I loved having the place to ourselves first thing as we didn’t feel rushed to explore everything so definitely go early if you can. The center is so big though that even when it got busier we still had room to explore on our own. The only lines we ended up waiting in were for VR experiences but there was a whole area packed with them all different themes.
Honestly, sometimes you go somewhere and its a one-and-done but my kids asked if we could go back next time we visit the area. The whole place is just exciting and so much to see and do. I honestly was amazed at how long we spent there.
In addition to all the experiences inside to explore there is also Flyride which is a “breathtaking and fully immersive ride that gives passengers the thrilling feeling of flight.” There are different movies to watch and it’s basically a ride. Each person sits on a ride with seatbelts that glides and tilts while you watch a giant 4-story curved screen. There are wind, scents, and other amazing effects that make you feel like you really experiencing the travel.
