When you first have a baby, it is so tempting to put a blanket on him or her at night. I know it was hard for me because I wanted my sons to stay warm and yet I knew they could suffocate with a blanket. Well thanks to Halo my problem was solved.
HALO is a company that is committed to helping babies everywhere sleep more safely and stay warm. A father who lost his daughter to Sudden Infants Death Syndrome (SIDS) invented the HALO SleepSack. Since 2003, the American Academy of Pediatrics has suggested using wearable blankets as a SIDS prevention measure and the HALO SleepSack has become America’s leading wearable blanket and the first choice of hospitals nationwide.
I had tons of these when my sons were younger and they were a lifesaver. In the winter you can use thick fuzzy pajamas, but I really liked the SleepSack for all the other seasons when you want a light blanket, but know you shouldn’t put lose bedding in the crib.
The SleepSack comes in sizes from birth all the way up to 5 years old! It’s generous design allows for kicking, but it can’t be kicked off. Wear it over an onesie, just a diaper, or even a regular sleeper. Another nice feature is that it zips from the bottom so it is perfect for quick nighttime diaper changes. When kids get older, the SleepSack has feet so big kids can walk around but still stay warm.
