With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, I figured it was a good time to again bring up Cryo-Cell stem cell service. The reason I am bringing it up now is that Cryo-Cell International, Inc. is partnering with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to explore the potential utilization of menstrual stem cells to treat breast cancer. The partnership is in hopes to better understand the C’elle stem cells and their potential benefit for the treatment of breast cancer.
Since unfortunately practically everyone knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer, I think it is great of Cryo-Cell to take initiative to see if menstrual blood stem cells can help. Basically menstrual blood stem cells are a rich source of stem cells and the subject of extensive, aggressive stem cell research and development.
So for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Cryo-Cell is offering a C’Elle Breast Cancer Donation to the Susan B. Komen Foundation. With each purchase of the “Protect Baby, Protect Mom” service, they will donate $50 and for each purchase of the “C’elle Menstrual Stem Cell” service they will donate $25.
Now I am still far off from understanding stem cell research but I think if it is something that can help breast cancer, amongst other diseases and conditions, then I figure it is worth learning more about. I also think it is great that there is the Cyro-Cell Breast Cancer Donation.
