So last night, I took Aidan (33 months) along with my neighbor and her 2 year old to see “Disney Live! Rockin’ Road Show” produced by Feld Entertainment at the Rosemont Theatre in Rosemont, Illinois. The show started at 6:30 and ended at 8:00 PM, with a short intermission. We loved it!
I wish Aidan could talk, he doesn’t yet, because I would love to know what was going through his head. He smiled, pointed, and even clapped! He usually doesn’t clap so it was exciting to watch him get so excited.
The show featured all of the gang: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and even had Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Cinderella, and Tigger! All the characters were onstage performing, singing, and dancing. It was a very live and fun event and even had us out of our seats dancing along!
I had never really been to a live show like that before and it was at such a small venue that we really felt up, close and personal with the characters. I would recommend this show to any families looking for something fun and different to do. The only drawback is that you do need a ticket for everyone ages 1 and up, so it can be expensive if you really want some good tickets.
Check out the Disney Live! website for showtimes and dates nearby you! (As a side note, opening day tickets for the shows are usually really cheap!)
