    Skoy is an eco-friendly household cleaning cloth that outlasts 15 rolls of paper towels. This new approach to cleaning boasts a cloth that is 100% biodegradable, natural, and re-usable.  The SKOY cloth has an absorption factor of 15x its own weight, which makes it far superior than any other cloth on the market. SKOY is a durable cloth that is washer and dryer safe, which means it can be used over and over again.   This European-made product is non-toxic and utilizes original artwork designs to add fun as well as function to the kitchen or bathroom.

    MY THOUGHTS:

    I hate the thought of wasting a paper towel just to wipe down a small spill or my counters.  It is not only wasteful for the environment but I am wasting money by throwing them away.  So for a few years now I have been using more washclothes in my kitchen then paper towels.  Yes I still have paper towels as I do like them for certain spills or for guests, but most of the time we reach for a washcloth.

    The Skoy cleaning cloth is a reusable product that not only holds 15 times its own weight (great for big spills) but also takes the place of 15 rolls of paper towels.  I love that I can grab a Skoy cloth to wipe down my surfaces and either reuse them or toss them in the washing machine.  I am able to machine wash and dry them just fine, and you can also clean them in the dishwasher or sanitize them in the microwave.  They are a small square design so they are not too big but they are powerful in holding and picking up liquids.  Easy to use and wash, and they are also cuter than plain old washclothes!

      I only buy paper towels when we host a large party. Other than that I use rags to clean everything, and then throw them in the wash.

      I think paper towels can be useful sometimes, but are widely overused. Skoy clothes seem like a great alternative to have on hand.

      I stopped using paper towels a couple of months ago and right now just using rags made out of flannel. Working good except for smashing bugs and not sure how to drain the grease from my meat. I loved paper towels but thought this was a small easy step, plus this is much cheaper.

      I HATE paper towels. They are wasteful, leave a trail of lint behind and expensive. I’m all about saving money, trees and buying (or winning…wink wink) reusable cloths.

      I’m not opposed to using paper towels as they have a very valuable place in our household, but I also try to use reusable rags or sponges that I sanitize regularly in the microwave whenever I can.

      I (and this household) use them as little as possible. Things like cat hairballs, or really gross messy things… other than that, I use dish clothes (washable) or cut up old tee shirts (dusting, windows, etc). Everything I can do to save the environment…. but these look great!

      I am trying to cut out our use of paper towels, but they are just too handy. We have started using SKOY cloths so we have managed to cut way down, but doubt we will ever completely stop using them even though it is more waste.

      I try to be as frugal as possible with paper towels–I cover microwaved food with a bowl instead of a paper towel for example

      I feel that paper towels have their place, but they can certainly be used less. It is too easy for everyone to pull off a towel, or in many cases, more than they need, for a variety of uses.

      I think of paper towels as a necessary evil. It seems wasteful to cut down trees for somethng that is thrown away in an instant. But alternatives seem few. I’d really like to try these clothes.

      I hate buying paper towels, I try and reuse them around the house some, but everyone else just throws them away as if they don’t cost anything, very wasteful

      I love the convenience and sanitary aspects of paper towels but hate knowing that I’m not doing well by the environment by using them. I use washrags but feel they get stinky too quickly and don’t want to wash them daily (wasted water=not good either!). I try to make sure I use them thoroughly and buy recycled brands whenever possible, as a happy medium.

      I always have paper towels on hand, but I personally like to use cloths. I just throw them in the laundry when I’m done. Really, what is one more thing in the load!LOL I just feel like I am always throwing away my money when I use & toss a paper towel.

      I feel the same way as you do! Personally, I try to reuse them as many times as I can by going back and rinsing them off with water after each use, but even then that only lasts maybe 4 or 5 times and then you just end up tossing it.

      It’s just wasteful!

      I love papertowels – they make me feel I am not spreading germs. But I also hate to throw them away. So very bad for the environment and my pocketbook. Would love to try these re-usable towels. Thank you for the opportunity. Happy New Year.
