With Christmas just around the corner, I decided to clean out the kids toy room and our storage where we keep our Christmas decorations. I have filled two big boxes of items to donate and my brothers friend lost his job so I packed up a garbage bag so far with kids clothes and items for his son. Giving back is especially important this time of the year because with the economy and since it is “The Season of Giving.”
I know I forget and take things for granted, but I do try. We also donate money to the hospital that performed my son’s open-heart surgery when he was a baby. One way to give back as you do your Christmas shopping is through purchasing Robeez Soft Soled shoes. For every pair of Robeez purchased, Stride Rite will donate a pair to K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations) through December 23rd. K.I.D.S. brings hope and self-esteem to children in need and their families by providing them with new clothes, shoes, toys, furniture and other juvenile products donated by leading manufacturers and retailers. The donations then move through a network of community social service agencies in the U.S. and abroad to reach children who are sick, living in poverty, or victims of natural disasters. My first son lived in his Robeez shoes. Since we have hardwood, I always had shoes on him because it was harder for him to get them off like he would take his socks off! I love to how soft and flexible Robeez are, and I have even machine-washed them with no problems! I just checked out their new line and I love the Funky Monsters in black soft soled Robeez shoes. The best part too is that a lot of the shoes on are sale and Robeez offers Free Shipping on all orders! Oh and Robeez soft soled shoes go all the way up to 2 years old, which I did not know!
