    Purex Complete with Zout Review (& Giveaway – 2 Winners Ends 5/6)

    ABOUT:

    Purex Complete with Zout combines the power of Purex detergent with the triple-enzyme stain-fighting power of Zout stain remover.

    Contains the three powerful stain-fighting enzymes:

    • Protease:  Protein based stains such as blood.
    • Amylase:  Starchy stains such as chocolate and tomato sauce.
    • Mannanase:  Guar, which is used as a thickener in many foods such as ice cream, barbecue sauce and salad dressing because its super sticky.  (Unfortunately it really sticks to fabrics making it difficult to remove.)

    Purex Complete works in both traditional and High Efficiency (HE) washers.  It is available in two fragrances:  Fresh Morning Burst and Free & Clear.  The Free & Clear version is actually the first detergent to include an added stain fighter.  Also, not only do you save with this detergent/stain fighter combo, but it also costs far less than the leading brand of liquid detergent (priced $3.49 to $7.99 depending on size and retailer.)

    MY THOUGHTS:

    I love new Purex Complete with Zout because I often forget to pre-treat stains and at least now I have a better shot at them washing out!  I love the smell of the fresh Morning Burst and I trust the brand Purex.  I have had some pretty gross stains on the kids clothes so far and Purex Complete has done pretty well.  I will say though if I notice a really bad stain I would probably pre-treat it anyways, but at least with Purex Complete with Zout it is like extra stain fighting power.  I figure whether I pretreat or not, at least there will always be a stain fighter working in my washing machine with Purex Complete with Zout.  It is funny too because I usually buy Zout anyways for my stains!  So I will save money by not using so much (if any) separate stain remover, I save money by also not throwing away stained clothes and I save time by not wasting time pretreating.

    Overall, I would recommend Purex Complete with Zout for anyone who just needs that extra stain fighting formula, or a busy mom like me who just can’t always remember to treat stained clothes!

      I recently had to battle a grass and mud stain on my daughter’s new pants. Her dad had her change when I wasn’t home. So instead of being left out to be stain treated right away, it all set in!

      My daughter has to wear a light tan shirt for scout meetings.Her son cut his finger and of couse,the blood was on her shirt sleeve.All of the troop leaders were to be there so we had to work magic.Thank goodness for Dawn dish detergent and a blow dryer,the blood came out and we were able to dry it before she went on stage.Not too bad,even if we were on a field with just so many people there and no washer.

      MANDATORY ENTRY: This is a good question CUZ…I am ALWAYS battling stains on all of my family’s clothes! UGH! I NEVER have laundry stain holidays, NEVER! I hate it. The most recent stain was on my daughter’s clothing and I ‘think’ the stain is/was some sort of red punch on a BRIGHT WHITE school shirt of her’s. UGH…the darn thing is still stained on her shirt. So…IF I win, I would love to treat this stain with this Purex product to see if it can wipe-out this horrible stain, please??!?!
