For Christmas I bought my husband a new gas grill. It was our first real grill purchase as our first one was a hand-me down and the second one was a cheap one from our local grocery store! My father-in-law kept pushing Weber grills on us but my husband wanted to shop around. While shopping around online I did find a bunch of weber gas grills on sale, but none my husband liked.
He finally found one at Sears that was a propane and charcoal combo grill. This thing is huge and has two grilling stations, one on each side. I am not sure where the whole charcoal need came from but all of the sudden my husband my husband needed this combo grill! So I tried to buy it online and pick it up in the store but after so many problems my order was canceled and I was ready to give up. I told my husband that we’d go grill shopping in the Spring. He started looking then at more expensive napoleon grills, but was fine with waiting.
I did though find a great deal after coupons on the grill he wanted and ordered it. My in-laws picked it up and stored it at their house until I could secretly pick it up and bring it to my neighbor’s house. Christmas morning I wrapped a note saying that his grill was over in the neighbor’s garage and for him to go get it! He was so excited and couldn’t believe I was able to keep it from him! Good thing he doesn’t pay or check the bills! He couldn’t wait until April to put that grill together and has been using it a few times a week so far since!
