ABOUT:

MY THOUGHTS:
I hate weighing myself, I know who doesn’t, but what I hate even more are how ugly the scales usually are. Well the new Weight Watchers Glass Body Analysis Scale (model WW52) is one that I don’t mind having out and actually using!
Weight Watchers Glass Body Analysis Scale
The Weight Watchers by Conair Glass Body Analysis Scale not only measures weight but also measures body fat, body water, bone mass, and BMI (body mass index). And because it has a four-user memory, it can be used by the whole family!

So this scale is very thin and made of glass and I did feel like I might break it, but it is actually quite durable. I did try to use this scale without directions and I was clueless, I could not figure out how to set up different users or calculate anything other than my weight without getting an Error message. After reading through the instruction manual quickly I was ready to go and easily set my husband and I up. So while you can use this for up to four people, I just have it set for two people.
I will say it is quite interesting to see my weight change and be so precise. It is accurate too, at least for me, as I weighed myself on it after getting weighed at the doctor’s office. I have never known of my Bone Mass, BMI, Body Fat or Body Water, so it is interesting to see those figures, although I definitely have to do some research over what they mean! The screen is easy to read with it’s extra large 2-line LCD Blue Backlight screen. The design overall would surely look nice in any bathroom, especially compared to those ugly white metal ones that are out there! As far as using it you just tap your foot on the scale and when it lights up you are ready to step on it. I do feel like if I am weighing myself regularly I will try to eat and excercicse more as it will be sad to see the scale report that I gained weight! I have been using it for a few weeks now and other than initially figuring out how to use it (yes reading the instructions helps) I haven’t had any problems. I also love that it comes with the 4 AAA batteries (long life even) required.

The best weight loss tip I have used was to stay on my Gestational diabetic diet after I delivered.
I ate 30 grams of carbs for snacks and 45 grams for meals. I didn’t eat fruit or sugary stuff and didn’t go more than 3 hours without eating something. I ate protein rich foods and I lost alot of weight.

Well I haven’t been particularly successful at losing much weight yet, but my best tip is keep small snacks available in the afternoon so that you don’t get so hungry right when you get home so that you just want to eat a huge meal to satisfy your hunger.

I have found that one of the most successful wieght loss techniques I have used is drinking more water, eating more fiber, and eating less fats.. Exercise is key…but in a 6 week period I lost 15 lbs without hours of burning exercise. Id love to try the scale and see if Im still losing weight.

Tip #1: Drink an ice cold glass of water in the morning. It will fill you up, so you eat less for breakfast and your body burns more calories converting cold drinks than room temp or hot.

My weight loss story is a yoyo. I lost with a great motive, going on a friend trip about 6 years ago. Then gained. Then lost when I became very sick. The past two years put on about 25lbs and am now getting back to WW basics on my own. I love the concept of being accountable for weigh ins. My neighbor and I have said we can do our own as long as we are still accountable. I need that “check” system to make it work.

my tip- try making one small healthy change in your lifestyle for 1 week-to achieve even this small goal feels amazing and is a great motivator!
