My kind of silly laundry tip is to keep any money you find in the wash/dryer and make it known. They learn to clean out their pockets, before putting it into the hamper, really fast that way. lol

this what my grandmother does to get white such that is really grundy.
She saves all the bar soap pieces (small) that are left and she scrubs it out with soap and a scrub brush then she soaks them overnight in a bucket filled with bleach and water and then she washes them with ammonia. i swear that stuff looks new.
