    ABOUT:

    Prep & Landing is an adorable holiday story about a high-tech team of elves who ensure homes around the world are properly prepared for their visit from Santa. After working for a tireless 227 years, an elf named Wayne (voiced by Dave Foley) is upset when he doesn’t receive an expected promotion. Instead he is partnered with an idealistic rookie elf named Lanny (voiced by Derek Richardson) to execute a special Christmas Eve mission. While on their journey, Wayne and Lanny encounter unexpected challenges that push them to their limits and ultimately threaten Christmas for children around the world. But in the end, these two elves work together to guide Santa through a raging snowstorm in order to save Christmas.

    Prep & Landing first debuted in 2009 as ABC TV’s first animated television special produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios.

    MY THOUGHTS:

    I love holiday movies but with little ones at home it can be hard to find movies that both them and my husband and I like.  When Prep & Landing came out in 2009, we loved it!  I recorded it on our DVR but it got accidentally deleted – we were all devastated!  Well until now Prep & Landing was just a show we would watch each holiday season, but now we can watch Prep & Landing anytime we want, even in July!

    Prep & Landing is an adorable movie that packs so much into its 22 minutes of running time.  The movie is about an elf who is awesome at his job at setting up homes for Santa’s arrival, but he gets bored.  After some help he realizes how important his job is and scrambles to get the house ready or Santa may have to pass it up.  The movie is so cute and funny!  We all laughed and my boys (3 and 4) just want to watch it over and over!  It is one Christmas DVD that we will be watching over and over

      Other than Prep & Landing, the favorite would be Elf; however, ever since Prep & Landing came out a few years ago, my husband and I have waited anxiously for the night that it would play on tv (oh, and the kids too, but mainly prompted by our excitement).

      So many I cannot choose just one! lol A Christmas Story, Charlie Brown Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, The Grinch That Stole Christmas (animated), Scrooged, Mickey’s A Christmas Carol…and more! lol

      I love Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase, but my son and I both love Prep and Landing. When we watched it last year, my son kept saying “That’s so Tinsel!”.

      my favorite Christmas movie is White Christmas…but I also enjoy Christmas Vacation.

      We enjoy watching Polar express with the kids…

      I love all Christmas movies, there is just something special about them to me. My top favorites would be ELF, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story!
