ABOUT:
Drano® Snake Plus is a new drain cleaning kit from the trusted drain experts that’s guaranteed to clear clogs the first time or it’s free*. Drano® Snake Plus combines an easy-to-use 18-inch flexible tool with a powerful pro concentrate gel, the most powerful gel from Drano®, which clings directly to the clog and helps dissolve it away.
Drano® Snake Plus is designed to be used on sink and shower drains and is not designed to be used on a toilet.
With Drano® Snake Plus, unclogging the drain is as easy as one, two, free. Follow these easy steps to clear clogs the first time:
- Insert the 18-inch flexible tool into the drain opening and move the tool up and down to better loosen the clog, then remove and discard the tool.
- Pour the entire bottle of Drano® Pro Concentrate Gel down the drain and let the powerful formula help dissolve the solution for 30 minutes.
- Flush the drain with hot water to free the drain of any remaining clogged materials.
MY THOUGHTS:
We constantly get clogged drains in our house, whether it is from my hair falling out into the sink (especially since I am shedding like crazy since having a baby) or my kid’s bathtub from built up residue. It also doesn’t help that we have technically eight sink sinks in our house which ups the probably that one will be clogged!
We have used Drano in the past and it has worked great but what is even better about the Drano Snake Plus version is that it comes with an 18-inch flexible tool in addition to the Drano pro concentrate gel. First you loosen the clog with the tool and then you pour the entire bottle down the drain and let it work its magic. I have yet to have a clog Drano couldn’t handle, but with this new tool option it not only speeds up the process but it also works on those tough clogs. It is also good to have one on hand because it is awful to have to run out for a bottle just to unclog a drain. It is one bottle of Drano per clog, but it is definitely worth it rather than calling a plumber!
BUY IT: Drano Snake Plus is available for purchase in the home cleaning sections of food, drug, do-it-yourself and mass-merchandise stores such as Target, Walmart and CVS.for a suggested retail price is: $6.99.
WIN IT: (1) US winner will receive a Drano Snake Plus

I like to go out of my way to stay clean shaven and not using a Norelco leaves me with a lot of unwanted hairs left to clog up the bathroom sink. This device seems like a pretty nifty solution for this stubborn drain.

I would use it in our bathtub and sink! When my husband shaves in the sink, his thick facial hair clogs it so easy! It really need a good unclogging. Plus, my teen sister has very, very long hair, so the bathtub drain gets clogged easy, too. This Draino would be a lifesaver!

This would definitely be great to have on hand for the holidays! I’ll never forget one Christmas the toilet backed up…right in the middle of our traditional family get-together!! What a disaster!! Then there was the Christmas that the bathroom sink suddenly wouldn’t drain. At. All. No one could wash their hands in there because the water wasn’t going out. Argggh!! I swore then that I’d be more prepared for the unexpected. Having this under my cabinet would at least give me some peace of mind. 🙂
Yolanda R says
I ‘d use this to help unstop my tub. The water goes down the drain really slow.
