    About Me:

    My name is Cher (yes I was named after Cher) and I am a SAHM of two boys, ages 38 months old and 22 months old.  I love being home with them, even though they drive me crazy at times.  I also have a wonderful husband who has a good job, a great side job, and he is somewhat handy around the house.

    I started blogging in August 2008 because I was sick of repeating my coupon deals and other ways of making money to my friends and family.  So I started my blog and told them to read it to see ways to save money and make money.  Before I started my blog, I honestly thought they were dumb as I thought they were all online journals about personal problems.  Boy was I wrong!  Some of my favorite websites back then I soon realized were actually blogs!  So I started out on Google Blogger and within a few days I was up and running.  (My husband actually named my blog!)  So in the beginning I posted deals and coupons and survey sites I used, hence the name Mama’s Money Savers.  Then around August 2009 I started to really get into product reviews and giveaways.  Soon I was doing at least one everyday.  I have done reviews on so many different products and websites that I couldn’t even list them all if I tried!

    So now I host giveaways and product reviews, and I love it!  I am slowly working on other ideas to add in as I want to get back to my roots and expand on other ideas.  I of course will hopefully always post product reviews and giveaways, but I hope to add in recipes, more personal posts, and I am looking for any other ideas from my readers!

    ABOUT THE ULTIMATE BLOG PARTY:

    Okay so I am always looking to meet new bloggers and just communicate better with the bloggers I already read.  (I read tons of blogs but I am awful at commenting on them!)  I also love ‘chatting’ with my readers.

    Well now there is a party going on from April 9th-16th, that is all about blogging, both for bloggers and readers.  What happens is all the bloggers sign up on a McKlinky showcasing a post introducing themselves and mentioning what prizes they would like to win.  Oh did I forget to mention there will be prizes!  You can check out the prizes HERE. Both bloggers and non-bloggers just need to comment on the 5 Minutes for Mom Ultimate Blog Party Post 2010.  If you are a non-blogger you do need to comment on at least 20 participating party posts to be eligible to win prizes.  Prizes will awarded by a random draw done by the 5 Minutes for Mom founders.  There will also be giveaways going on separately on many of the party blogs – including mine!

    If you are a blogger, just post a post like this and link it on the 5 Minutes for Mom Ultimate Blog Party Post.  Don’t forget to list the prizes you like!

    If you are a non-blogger, just check out and comment on at least 20 of the blogs listed on the Ultimate Blog Party Post McKlinky with the top three prizes you like!

    USC 17 – With the upcoming release of their iphone app in the next few weeks, CmomGo is offering up a $200 Apple Gift certificate.       Oh no you did not out picture me honey! I love it! You have a great blog. I know you came by my blog and I just know you so that muffin on the side and wondered why is the dieting fat chick taunting herself with a banana nut muffin. Well, I will tell you. I am starting a program I know you will want to be apart of (yeah cause I know you like that)called Feed Five For Five. Its a program encouraging people to take $5 out of their budget and use it to feed some random family. It could be their family, their neighbors, a family in need, or a family in a parking lot of your local store.
