MY THOUGHTS:
There are so many times when I think “Oh I should have wrote that down.” I have a terrible memory and with three kids that are growing so fast, I mix things up with their childhoods already! I think it is important to document things too so one day when I am gone my children will have something to look back on or even when I myself am older and want to reflect.
Journal 10 is an amazing journal that has a page for each day of the year for ten years. So for example there is a page for January 1st and on that page is ten spots to write (years 2011-2021). It is just a few lines so your not expected to write an essay but a short note on something that happened that day. So far for this I have written in the book just a few times and honestly I am happy with that. While I wish I could write in it everyday I also don’t want to write boring stuff like “Sat around all day.” There was a day last week when my 3 year old came up to me and said out of the blue “Mom, your my best friend.” I wanted to document that so ten years and so forth from now I can look back and smile when I read that. Or I wrote for another day “Went ice skating for the first time.” I am writing whatever we do, they say or even feel. The book really makes it easy to navigate and since it looks nice, I actually keep it in my kitchen with my cookbooks so I have it handy to write in!
I have thought about keeping a journal before but the ones I have seen were big and overwhelming. Journal 10 has just four lines for each day of all the ten years (with carry over blank pages at the back) and the book is a normal size. It is amazing that ten years worth of events, goals, accomplishments, sayings and more fits in one durable bound book.
With all the extra blank pages, special date pages, medical, auto and other records pages and even an address book – it is a book that really takes the place of so many other books!
Journal 10 is a book perfect for people of all ages who want to start documenting their lives. You can really pick up this book anytime and start writing in it. I received the book that started with January 2011 and even though a whole year has passed I am just going to go back and write in events that I had written in our calendar. So see what I mean where you can pick up the book and write in it anytime! I have never seen a book like this before and wish I would have heard about it sooner, but glad I have it now!

What a great idea! I just read an article in Ladies Home Journal about starting a one sentence journal. In 5 years you’d have 1825 memories and twice that in 10 years!
