MY THOUGHTS:
First off I will say I am by no means a crafty person and while I do have good intentions I never have the time or energy to get them together. BabbaBox is amazing because it contains everything you need for wonderful activities from crafts, to reading to even a digital app. It is a box full of activities surrounding a particular theme and each activity is separate out into its own bag with all the materials included.
I received a BabbaBox to check out with the theme of: Gratitude
(Keep in mind every month is a different theme and set of projects)
The box first came with a sheet detailing the projects revolving around “Gratitude.”
- Create with 3 projects
- Explore with a gratitude journal
- Story tell by “Giving Thanks” to nature’s gifts
- Connect and enjoy gratitude-themed digital content
There is a set to create Thank You cards with kits, foam stickers, markers, and even already stamped envelopes for mailing!
There is a set to create a Personalized Trivet/Hotpad. By using the included corkboard, paint, paintbrush and stickers there is an example of how to create a “Thanks” Hotpad.
There is a set to create a plastic Serving Tray by painting your child’s hands, everything of course is included.
There is a disposable camera and cardboard journal to create a keepsake journal to display or give as a gift.
There is a wonderful picture book called “Giving Thanks” perfect for storytelling.
Finally there was a tea infuser for me and a code to download a kid’s digital app for our iPad.
I am just so amazed at the care and creativity that went into creating all these projects. There was nothing I felt was missing and my boys were able to enjoy the one BabbaBox together. Because the set is full of items revolving the theme “Gratitude” it made it easy to teach my kids about a particular theme. Now what I received was just one month’s BabbaBox, there is a different box/theme each month. With so many different projects inside there really is plenty for two kids to work on, although I am sure they would love their own BabbaBox as well! You could also space out the projects to one a week or have a fun and creative weekend! I think any child would love to receive a BabbaBox whether it be just one or a monthly subscription. You can’t buy anything like this at a regular store and the time and materials you’d need to buy to make a similar BabbaBox would probably end up costing you the same amount of money and time!
BUY IT: The BabbaBox can be purchased or gifted for 1 month, 3 months or a full year for $29.99 which a discount if a full year is purchased.
