Coupons really can be a girl’s best friend. Now I am not as good as I could be, or others are, but I do use them and I figure some are better than none! “What’s the most you’ve ever saved with coupons?” I sometimes am asked. Well, usually I save a few dollars here and there, other times I am able to save 10-20%, which is usually at least $10. I actually am better at using store coupons than I am at grocery coupons (probably because I shop at Aldi a lot and they don’t accept coupons.) I have a pouch in my purse with store and restaurant coupons and if I have a credit card or gift card for that particular store I paper clip them together so I remember to use them! Some of my favorite deals are when I have coupons for Old Navy because they already have some awesome deals that I can usually get some great clothes for only a few dollars each!
Saving with coupons

Using coupons is a great way to save money. I save a lot shopping at CVS, Walgreens and Target, but I’m still working on saving more on groceries.

We always save more with grocery coupons too.
The best I ever did was a few years back, and I saved $127 grocery shopping at one time, but you have to realize it was for a whole month’s worth of groceries too, not just a week or two.

Every little bit helps!! So far this month I’ve spent $694.28 and I’ve saved $869.16 plus am owed $20 in rebates! $300 of what I’ve spent was on a gift card to my grocery store because they were doing a deal where I would get $30 back on it. So I’m prepaid for my groceries for the next few months. I’m over budget by $274.28 but if you take away the $300 gift card I’m still under budget!
