    As a mom of two boys, I am constantly looking for anything to make my life easier and most importantly keep them happy. One of the constant battles in our house is shoes. I remember when my 24 month old got his first pair of shoes and how I was clueless as to boy shoes let alone baby shoes. Since he was a winter baby, I always tried to keep shoes on him because they helped his socks on and because I feel if his head and feet are warm then the rest of him will be. Well back then there were not many choices and they all seemed so-so, and the ones we did buy were expensive and definitely not worth the price. Now that my son is 2, we are looking for toddler shoes that are easy to put on, yet comfortable and light. I am also looking for strong and lasting shoes so I can hopefully pass them on to my other child.

    So here I was looking for shoes for my 24 month old and my 7 month old, since there are so many cute styles out now. In my search, I came across the company ShooShoos which has the slogan “Simply the best for little growing feet!” ShooShoos began in 1996 and has spread to become a worldwide brand in over 40 countries. They have a commitment to provide the best baby shoes and have been featured in numerous television shows and magazines!
    I am in love now with ShooShoos! First off they are made of soft natural leather so you know they are good quality and not cheap shoes that will fall apart. Next comes the design: Light, Flexible, and durable. Finally pediatricians recommend them, so you know they will be great for your child’s growing feet. I remember worrying that my son would crawl or walk funny if he did not have the proper shoes.

    ShooShoos Features:
    • Elasticized ankle so you can easily slip the shoes on without worrying that your child can easily slip them off
    • No shoe laces to tie or stumble over, although some designs do have some very cute fake laces!
    • Cotton thread and lining
    • Suede non-slip sole to steady crawlers and walkers. For toddlers, their shoes feature a flexible rubber sole.
    • Non-Toxic dyes, because you know those shoes will end up in your baby’s mouth!
    • 100% Nappa Leather to allow proper feet development.

    There are two different types of shoes sold by ShooShoos, which is perfect for me since I have both an infant and a young toddler. The soft soled baby shoes in leather come in sizes: (S) 0-6m, (M) 6-12m, (L) 12-18m, and (XL) 18-24m. There are also so many choices of styles that it is hard to buy just one pair of these baby shoes! Their other line is new and called “ShooShooes Smileys.” There are not too many sizes and styles of these yet, but since it is new the possibilities are endless. These shoes come in US Sizes: (5) 12-16m, (6) 16-20m, (7) 20-24, and (8) 24-28m. There is a sizing chart available to measure and match your child’s foot size so you get just the right pair.

    I was lucky enough to receive a pair of their new line for my 24 month old in the Denim/Silver Smiley Sports style. My son loves them and I actually had to wait until he fell asleep to take them off the first time. As soon as they wear on his feet he was immediately stomping all over the house and I think he loved how light and flexible they are. I love of course that I can quickly slip them on his feet and there are no shoe laces. So far we have worn these out to the mall and received compliments at the play center there and I put them on him if we are going to play in our basement as they are nicer then slippers! I remember his first pair of rubber soled shoes were heavy and stiff, far from the awesome quality and craftsmanship of ShooShoos. I am actually looking forward to my 7 month old walking so I can get him a pair! Right now though I love their soft soled baby shoes and feel good putting them on him.

      I loved the Sky / Grey / Stars shoes and the little doggy ones too. All their shoes are gorgeous and it’s so hard to choose a favorite.
      They look like such great quality shoes that won’t hurt my child and be uncomfortable in any way.

I have a one year old girl and a 2 year old girl, and I love to dress and accessorize both of them (when I can afford it).       I have a 16 month old and it is so hard to keep shoes tied. I always have to double knot them, but on little shoes sometimes there isn’t much string to do so…therefore these would be perfect. For my toddler I like the denim/silver smiley sports. He wears jeans and blue alot so these would match. I also have another boy due June 20th. For him I like the navy/silver world cups. They would match his big brothers!

      These shoes are so amazing cute. I have to say my favourite is Navy/Puppy/Collar simply because the dog on them is just so adorable.       Hello, I like the Sand / Beige Smiley Sports (#S4 Sand), there so cute, and I’ve been having a hard time finding shoes that my son could wear that he could walk in. I like the way that they have the elastic top, I hate fighting with the laces on my sons shoes, plus one of my friends bought some for her little one and she just loved the way her son could walk in them without falling all the time, she said that it would be good for my son with his chubby feet, but she got them as a gift and I couldn’t find them anywhere, but online but I have no credit card.       Oh my gosh these are ADORABLE!!! Wish I had known about them when my son was younger. But since we’re expecting a girl this time….my favorite is the Pink Cupcake style. I love to bake, so that’s why I love that pair!!
